My Essential Films
Good films stand up very well to multiple viewings while poor films are best forgotten as soon as possible.  To make my list, a film would have to be good enough that if I stumbled across it while channel surfing that I would stop right there and watch it again, all the way to the end, no matter where I came in.  So these are my essential films: the ones that have touched me or affected me in some way, the ones that have a place in my heart.  What are yours?
